We try to keep things as simple as possible, but bulk messaging is pretty complex and complicated, so here's how it works:

Note: Only users who've opted in to receive messages/notifications from you via each respective method will receive it.
Example: Jen opts in to receive your pushes, but not emails or texts. So if you send out a message via all 4 channels, then Jen will only receive the "default" Inbox version of your message - and the Rich Push Notification version of your message (ie. 2 out of 4).
The Private Inboxes within the chattrboxx.com website and both mobile apps are set to opt-in by default (and permanently), which means users will always be able to check their ChattrBox Inbox and see your messages.
Similar to famous newsletter services, like Mailchimp, we require you to first send out an initial invite/opt-in email (and text message, if you want to use text as a delivery channel). This allows you to let your users, contacts, members, customers or audience know who the message is coming from and that you want to message them from the ChattrBox Platform.
If they sign up, they're automatically opted in to whichever delivery channel(s) you invited them from. There are always "stop" or "opt-out" links at the bottom of all ChattrBox Emails and Text Messages. Plus, users can simply log in to ChattrBoxx.com (on the website or app) and visit their Edit Account page (or section) and click the appropriate toggles to off (for each delivery channel/method).
Bulk Emails and Email Notificiations are whole different challenge. We handle them in 3 ways.
1. If you send via ChattrBox, we simply send an Email "Notification" that the User has a new Private Inbox Message.
2. You can sign up for your own White-Label ChattrBox Online Console and this gives you unlimited freedom. You can include snippets of your message in the New Message Notification Emails or you can just send the actual message via email directly (with no notification needed).
3. You can sign up for your own White-Label Bulk Email Server, which we setup for you that gives you unlimited contacts and email deliveries. Basically, you can do anything you please. We do recommend that you use a domain name that your users/contacts will recognize and that you add at least 2 additional IP Addresses to your Order (which cost $2/each). This allows you to deliver from 3 total IP Addresses (the included one - and 2 additional), which allows you to develop the sending reputation of 3 IPs. This ensures that you'll always be able to send bulk emails even if one of your IPs gets blacklisted or experiences a drop in sending authority.
ChattrBox is designed to send your message simultaneously via our 4 primary delivery channels, which includes SMS Text Message. However, SMS Text Messages are paid for separately by adding money to your ChattrBox Account (ie. E-Wallet). This is due to the nature of Text Messages and Carrier fees. 1 Text Message costs $0.01 (ie. 1 cent or 1 penny) and you have to load $5 at a time.
Note: We use Twilio as a Text Messaging partner to deliver your text messages.
All you need to do is simply paste your API Key and API Token in your Console under the Twilio Text Message area and you're automatically ready to send text messages!
We know "rich" push notifications unlike any other company. Sending regular push notifications without an image or video (or clickable links) is 5Xs faster, but "rich" push notifications are definitely worth the additional processing, uploading and delivery time.
We do not control actual delivery time, but in our experience your pushes are usually delivered within 2-5 seconds. See a preview of a "rich" push below:
